Spring! (finally)

Spring is in full swing here in Colorado and finally we can drive on safe dry roads! I for one am excited for spring but a certain problem arises when I’m driving. Our campaign is against distracted driving but when I’m driving it’s so easy to get distracted by the Colorado landscape. I hope I don’t get kicked off the team for my distracted driving but one thing we can learn from spring is to take a break from our busy lives and enjoy our lives. Don’t do it from you’re car while your driving though.

Hey readers! I had a cool idea that involves you’re participation. I was just wondering what kind of car you drive? I drive a 1995 Subaru Impreza, I’m not too sure about the color but I would call it blue-turquoise. I’ve actually become quite attached to my car and have named it Sheila. I’ve been sick at home so I haven’t been driving much recently but I still encourage you to stay focused on the road and to not be distracted. 

We are working extremely hard making sure nothing is left out for the final push to the event! We have an itinerary all planed out and we are super excited to have Alive at 25, Think First! to help spread the word about distracted driving! We are planning on having a Wii Driving Game, a a goCart driving type thing to practice with! We are having speakers come and are hoping for an awesome turnout. Our facebook page currently has 162 friends and we are starting a "Saints Alive" Music Video!

April Fools!

It's April fools in Colorado and driving has been no joke! With the wild driving conditions it reminds of how dangerous driving can be. It's times like these that make me realize how focused we need to be on driving and not the million other things that can distract us. If we focus on driving we'll have a much longer life to enjoy all the millions of things that would distract otherwise!

Welcome all to the first official post of Saints Alive!
Our mission is to get you focused on the road instead of responding to texts while driving or even eating breakfast while behind the wheel. Ultimately we want to keep you alive because I hear living is a pretty cool thing. We're still in the beginning stages of our project and we know what the grand finale is going to be we're just trying to fill in the blanks for an awesome ride(pun intended.) Hopefully in the next week or two we'll get some content up on the to get the ball rolling.
